Ingredients:

  • 4-5 medium sized lemons, enough for 1 C juice
  • 7 C water, divided
  • 1 C granulated sugar

Instructions:

Add sugar to pitcher. Bring one cup water to a gentle boil, then add to pitcher. Stir water and sugar together until the sugar dissolves and the liquid is clear. Juice lemons, making sure to strain out the seeds. Add lemon juice to the water mixture. Add remaining six cups of water, preferably cold and mix. Refrigerate and then enjoy!

Tips:

  • Roll your lemons to get the most juice out of them.
  • Substitute half cup of water for strawberry puree and make strawberry lemonade!
