Foodie Favorite: Beef Stir Fry

Best served over jasmine rice

A fourth generation Kenosha native, Freeborn is fueled by a desire to build community through her culinary skills in the kitchen. The Tremper High School graduate loves trying new recipes as well as creating unique ones of her own.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 C sliced red bell pepper
  • 1/2 C sliced orange bell pepper
  • 1/2 C sliced yellow bell pepper
  • 1 C sliced mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
  • 1 sweet Vidalia onion
  • 1 strip steak thinly sliced
  • Soy sauce

Instructions:

Place all your ingredients into a skillet with a little oil. Cook until onions and peppers are translucent and steak is mostly cooked through. Drizzle with soy sauce to taste. Serve over jasmine rice. Enjoy!
