KSFCA Annual Pike River Cleanup

September 17, 2022 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm

Join the Kenosha Sportfishing and Conservation Association (KSFCA), Root-Pike Watershed Initiative Network, the WI DNR, and Kenosha County Parks for an annual Pike River Cleanup! Participants can expect to get their stewardship on as we remove trash and debris from this river habitat. Stop “live screening” and come watch an actual live stream as you beautify the river!

The Pike River Clean-Up is for all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to keep the Pike River enjoyable for all – kayakers, hikers, fishermen, runners, joggers, and environmentalists. Snacks, water, gloves, and trash bags will be provided. Root-Pike WIN will begin with the team at Petrifying Springs Park, Area #4 and may move off to another area and/or cut and treat invasive species.

What to bring: ❖Work shoes and or knee-high boots ❖Work Gloves ❖Work Coveralls ❖Hip Boots or Waders ❖Reacher sticks or long steel rakes ❖Canoes, kayaks, or flat bottom boats ❖Fishing magnets

If you are a small business, private donor, or a corporation the cost is $200/ sponsor. Pays for event items and supports KSFCA club activities.

PLEASE EMAIL KRISTI AT KRISTINE@ROOTPIKEWIN.ORG IF YOU PLAN TO JOIN US!
