Join us for the art exhibit “I Object” Wednesday, Jan. 31 through Friday, March 1, in the H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art.
“I Object” is a painting exhibition revealing the malleable properties of oil paint. Freed from the historical constraints of depictive representation, the paintings in this exhibition reveal the benefits of objectification.
Please also attend the opening reception and artist talk for this exhibit in the H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art.
Opening Reception — Thursday, Feb. 8 | 3:30-6:30 p.m.
Artist Talk — Wednesday, Feb. 21 | 6:15-7:30 p.m.
The gallery is open from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Extended hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays. All art exhibits are free and open to the public.
