The Salvation Army Kenosha has been serving the County in His name for 135 years. What started as a local church and meals to feed the hungry, has grown into a food pantry, summer camp, Homelessness Prevention (rental and utility assistance), clothing, nursing home visits, and children’s Christmas gifts.
The community is invited to join The Salvation Army – Kenosha County in celebrating its 135 years of supporting those in need.
The celebration event on October 24, 2025, 6- 10 pm at the University of Wisconsin – Parkside Student Center Ballroom, will honor the history of the Salvation Army within Kenosha and share exciting plans for the future. The evening includes delicious hors d’oeuvres, mouth-watering seated dinner, live music from The Salvation Army WUM Divisional Band, speed painting by Dean Tawwater, founder and lead painter of Tawwater Sign Co., a unique photo booth, and silent and live auctions.
To support and attend the 135th Salvation Army – Kenosha Anniversary Celebration, individual tickets are $100 each. There are other options to support through sponsorships as well.
