William Paul Laubenstein, age 87, passed away peacefully on July 3rd, 2025. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, William was known for his kind heart, steady hands, and quiet wisdom. He enjoyed the simple things in life, fishing, hunting and spending time with family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories. William will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was born on April 8th, 1938, in Wisconsin to the late Eldor Laubenstein and Hazel (Marik) Laubenstein. He attended local schools and graduated from Bradford High School class of 1956. On May 16th, 1959, he married Marilyn Kortum and together they spent 66 years of marriage.
William is survived by his loving wife Marilyn, children: Laurie Laubenstein, Dan (Tonia Anderson) Laubenstein, grandchildren: Nicole, Stephanie, Cassie, and Briana, a great grandchild: Mia, and many other living relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son: Matthew Laubenstein, and sister: Carol Helgeson.
As per the family’s wishes, services will be held privately.
