June 17, 1939 – August 29, 2025
Thomas Arnold Bosman, a devoted husband, proud father, and hard-working man, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the age of 86.
Born in 1939, Tom was a lifelong resident of Wisconsin, born in Appleton, WI. He was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. He later attended GTI, where he studied Power Fluid Technology – a path that would lead to a remarkable 46-year career with AMC & Chrysler.
From 1955-1958, Tom served honorably in the U.S. Army National Guard, answering the call of duty with the same steady commitment he carried throughout his life.
In 1960, fate stepped in when Tom walked into a local coffee shop and was served a cup of hot coffee, a donut, and a thermos of milk by a young woman named Carol Erhardt Carey. Tom and Carol married in 1962 and built a full, loving life together until Carol’s passing in 2024.
Together, they raised five children: Kimberly (Jason) Smith, Trisha (Todd) Moore, Francine (Mark) Hooper, Christopher (Jenny) Bosman, and Daniel Bosman. Tom was a proud grandfather to 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, cherishing each new generation with a quiet pride and deep affection.
Tom will be remembered for his steady presence, his strong values, and the way he showed love through action – whether by working hard to provide for his family, sharing stories, or simply being there when it mattered. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he loved and the example he set.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carol, his parents Irene (Hawley) and Arnold Bosman, step-father Frank Greco, a brother David Greco, and a sister Susan (Greco) Marcoe. He leaves behind a family who will forever honor his memory.
A private family service will be held to celebrate Tom’s life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you share a kind word, a fond memory, or a quiet moment of reflection in honor of a man who never sought the spotlight, but always lit the way.
A special thank you to Dr. Antonio Montemurro and staff, the Hospice Alliance, and Dina Flannery for their thoughtful and compassionate care.
