Steven “Walleye Wicki” “Bud Light” R. Wicks, 76, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Hospital.
He was born on January 20, 1949, to the late Richard C. and Doris V. (Strang) Wicks in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.
Steve owned and operated Wicks Siding for many years.
Steve loved fishing, enjoyed bowling, and played softball and basketball in his younger years. Steve was a Green Bay Packers and Brewers fan. Most of all, Steve loved spending time with his grandchildren and his friends.
Steve is survived by his children Melanie (Tom) Kunath, Kevin (Tera) Vizenor, Ashley (Tim Tracy) Wicks, Alyssa (Wayne) Brissette, Cody Wicks, his six grandchildren, and his brothers James R. (Carol) Wicks and Michael A. Wicks.
He is preceded by his parents.
Funeral Services for Steve will be held on Friday, November 21st, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch-Hansen Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
