Sharon R. Pozza age 86 passed away on July 16, 2025, peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by family.
Sharon was born January 14, 1939 in Kenosha to the late Corporal Edward E. Sr. and Viola (Marineau) Regnier. She graduated from Kenosha Mary D. Bradford in 1956. Sharon worked for Fansteel Metallurgical Corporation in 1956.
On August 17, 1957 she married Robert Pozza at St. James Catholic Church and became a full-time homemaker.
Sharon was a devoted wife and a loving mother. She poured her heart into raising her children and gave the gift of unconditional love to her five children, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was deeply loved and cherished by her family.
Sharon enjoyed playing the game of bridge. The game brought her great pleasure, not only for the challenge it offered but for the lasting friendships she formed along the way.
She was an avid reader, always eager to unravel the next great mystery novel. One of her favorite pastimes was shopping with her daughters, creating cherished memories through simple, joyful moments together.
Sharon made every holiday special. She put so much love into every detail. She was a wonderful cook and her home was the heart of many cherished family gatherings. Her children talked on the phone with her every day, a reflection of the deep bond they shared. Sharon dedicated her entire life to her family.
Sharon is survived by her son, Robert Todd, Florida; daughters, Laura (Tim) Gascoigne, Pamela Pozza, Roberta Romero, Regina Pozza all of Kenosha; her eight grandchildren, Nicole Ellis, Joe Pozza, Breanna Gascoigne, Brock Gascoigne, Brooke Gascoigne, Roscoe Romero, Catrina Romero and Alexa Pozza; and her seven great grandchildren, Konner, Catalina, Peyton, Richie, Sonny, Luka and Aura.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her parents, Edward E. and Viola Regnier; her sister, Renee Bellaver; her brothers Guilbert Regnier and Louis ‘Bud’ Regnier; and her granddaughter Brittni Pozza.
As per her wishes, there will be no service and her burial will be private.
