It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra “Sandi” R. Lenegar, who went home to Jesus on October 30, 2025, at the age of 77.
Sandi was born to the late Vito and Joan (McCord) Kless on January 19, 1948, in Washington, D.C.
She met her husband, Daniel Lenegar, in 1963 at a party. They married two years later on August 20, 1966, and went on to have two children, Dan and Michael.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Sandi also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, collecting sea glass along the shore of Lake Michigan, and bowling in her earlier years. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. She was an active member at St Therese Church.
Sandi joins her parents, Vito and Joan; a sister, Terri Butterbrodt; a brother, Kenneth Kless; a nephew, Mathew Pickos; and a niece, Tracy Kless, in Heaven.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel; her sisters, Jo and Claudia; her children, Daniel (Dan) and Michael; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Corey, Adam, Erin, Natalie, Rosalie; and her great-grandchildren, Faye, Brynn, Charlotte, Jayce, Jaxson, Quinn, Gabriella.

Exodus 23:20 “See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.”
Memorial visitation honoring Sandi’s life will be held at Saint Therese Catholic Church on Friday, November 7th, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
