Samuel “Johnny” C. Mason, 83, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Hospital.
He was born on April 26, 1942 to the late Randolph L. and Ruby L. (Maffit) Mason in Big Flats, WI. He was educated in the schools of Adams-Friendship and graduated from Adams-Friendship High School. He then attended Kennemetal School and UW Madison. Johnny lived in Friendship and prior to moving to Kenosha in 1965 he worked in the logging industry in Wisconsin.
On October 1, 1983 he married the love of his life Janine “Jeani” Zapp in Arkdale, WI.
Johnny owned and operated Mason Tool & Manufacturing Inc. since 1972 and Fitting Specialty of America LLC
Johnny loved bowling, traveling Wisconsin, hunting and the Packers. Johny had a fabulous sense of humor.
Johnny is survived by his loving wife Jeani and his siblings Fred Mason, Larry (Debbie) Mason, Randy Mason and Marie Koehler all of Wisconsin. He is also survived by his Goddaughters Nicole Mench, Shelli Streeper and Shannon Hartinger.
He is preceded in death by a brother Marvin Mason.
Funeral Services for Johnny will be held on Monday, June 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place at Cottonville Cemetery in Adams County.
