Ruth Ann Fugate, 75, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Brookside Care Center.
She was born on February 12, 1950, to the late Jack and Helen (Mischler) Larsen in Kenosha. She graduated from St. George Catholic Elementary School and St. Joseph High School in 1971.
Ruth married Bob Young and had two sons, and later divorced in 1984.
On November 8, 1986, she married Donald Fugate in Kenosha.
She previously was a secretary for the Holy Rosary Cub Scouts. She was also a Wine Distributor at St. George Catholic Church. Ruth was co-owner and partner with her husband, Donald, of Falcon Alarms for over 25 years. She also worked at SC Johnson for 37 years as a secretary and a Sales Information Specialist.
Ruth enjoyed playing cards, board games, dominoes, camping, traveling, watching movies, and doing word search books. She was very helpful to others and a good resource person for spelling and grammar. She loved family get-togethers.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband, Donald Nelson Fugate, her siblings John Lewis (Julie) Larsen and Jeffrey Gerard (Janet) Larsen, her sister-in-law Debbie Larsen, her sons Robert Francis Young and Raymond James (Tonya) Young, her grandsons Tyler Ray Young and Wyatt James Young, her brother-in-law Ronald Nathan Fugate and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her twin brothers Raymond Edward Larsen, her grandson Robby Young, her great niece Scarlett Ray Schroeder, and her in-laws Nathaniel and Anna Fugate.
Funeral Services for Ruth will be held on Thursday, October 30th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home and again on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
