Rosemary Snyder, 85, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Rosemary was born on January 26, 1940, in La Crosse, WI, the daughter of the late Daniel & Elvina (Moore) Brown. She was educated in the schools of La Crosse. Rosemary was a homemaker for many years, also working at K-Mart throughout the years.
On June 30, 1958, she married her high school sweetheart, Arnold “Arnie” Snyder, in La Crosse, WI. They shared 67 wonderful years together full of love, family, and happiness.
Her hobbies included shopping, cooking, collecting recipes, crossword & word search puzzles, sudoku, but most of all spending time with family & friends.
Survivors include her husband, Arnie Snyder of Kenosha; children, Danny (Michelle) Snyder of Whitehall, WI, Kelly (Richard) Zamitalo of Franksville, Kari (Tony) Fisher of Kenosha, Lisa (Jim) Meyers of Kenosha; brothers, Len (Shirley) Brown of CA, Randy (Laura) Brown of CA; sister, MaDonna (Robert) Springer of Kenosha; grandchildren, Daniel Snyder, Ryan (Carly) Snyder, Danyelle (Jacob) Ives, Michallie (Isaiah) Graewin, Brittani (Ryan) Trahan, Kevin (Katie) Fisher, Stephanie (Tyler) Lysne, Nicole (Michael) Fisher, Jessica (Tyler) Fisher, Alex Fisher, Kyle Snyder, Kayla (Andrew) Montejo, Michael Meyers, Maxwell Meyers, Trista (Brandon) Jablonski; step-grandchildren, Jimmy (Katrina) Meyers, Erin Meyers, Michelle Meyers; 18 great grandchildren; and many other family & friends. Rosemary was preceded in death by her son, Gregg, brother, Dan, granddaughter, Heather Andrews, and grandson, Christopher Fisher.
She will also be dearly missed by her fur babies, Sadie, Duke & Sasha.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice Alliance Nurse, Nicole, and CNA, Shatunda, for their kind and compassionate care. Also, a special heartfelt thank you to our sisters, Lisa and Michelle, for giving of their time to provide amazing care to mom so she could remain at home with the love of her life, Arnie. And to our brother, Danny, for handling the upkeep of their beautiful home to allow Dad to spend all those precious moments with Mom.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 11:30 AM -12:30 PM, with funeral services to follow at 12:30 PM. Burial St. George Cemetery.
