July 18, 1971 – February 19, 2026
Robert Wayne Ormseth passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Kenosha on July 18, 1971, to Robert and Martha (Rohrbaugh) Ormseth, baptized at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church, and was educated in the Kenosha Unified School District.
Bobby was a kind soul who was loved by many. He enjoyed the simple joys in life, going for car rides, swimming, and listening to music. Some of his happiest moments were spent alongside his mom and dad, going to his sister’s games and traveling to see family. He enjoyed wandering through antique malls and flea markets with his parents, partaking in limitless Starburst candy from his dad as they searched for treasures.
Traveling to visit family in Oklahoma and South Dakota were annual trek where he spent quality time with his grandparents and family. Bobby was named after both of his grandfathers. He loved his family, and they fiercely loved him back.
He enjoyed pizza on Friday nights with his family and was always up for hitting the drive-thru when out. There wasn’t a shake, smoothie, soda, or dipping sauce he didn’t like.
Above all, he was a kind soul whose gentle heart touched everyone who knew him.
Robert is survived and terribly missed by his mother, Martha Ormseth; sister, Bethany Ormseth; aunt, Janis Marple of Oklahoma; uncle, Carl Prill of Appleton; cousins, Jeremy (Rita) Marple, Jordan (KC) Marple, Paula (Jeff) Binder, Michele (Eric) Berg, and Cheryl (Nate) Kolinski.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ormseth; grandparents, Robert and Margaret Ormseth, Shelton Wayne and Dorothy Rohrbaugh and his aunt, Martha Prill and cousin, Laura Prill.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at Alpha Homes; they truly were angels on earth with the loving care they gave Bobby.
A private celebration of Robert’s life will take place at a later date.
Bobby’s mother, father, and sister were all teachers in KUSD, and Bobby received an outstanding education in KUSD so, in lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the Education Foundation of Kenosha https://educationfoundationkenosha.org/donate would be appreciated.
