Service Details
His funeral will be held in the funeral home on February 28th at 4:00 P.M., followed by full military honors. Visitation will be prior to the funeral from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Private burial will take place in the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Robert A. Rogowski, 74, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Milwaukee on May 19, 1951, the son of the late Raymond W. and Alphild (nee: Tollefson) Rogowski.
On April 18, 1979, in St. Leonard Catholic Church in Muskego, he was united in marriage to April Ann Braun. Bob graduated from J.I. Case High School, Class of 1970. He served his country with the Charlie Battery 126th Field Artillery Army National Guard for over 26 years, retiring in 1992. Bob was a punch press operator his entire career; he last worked for E. C. Styberg Engineering Company, retiring October 20, 2017. Bob was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and I.A.M. Local #66. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and camper. Bob was a member of the Wisconsin Bow Hunters and a Life Member of the N.R.A.
Surviving are his loving wife, April; two sons, Michael (Jamie) Rogowski, of Union Grove, and Damian (Sandy) Rogowski, of Mt. Pleasant; six grandchildren, Hope, Jude, Emma, Tanner, Ty, and Kody; two brothers, Ryan (Deb) Rogowski, of Chapman, KS, Ronald (Roxanne) Rogowski, of Bessemer, MI; four sisters, Jennine (Alex) Schneider, of the Villages, Fl, Raynlee (Gary) McKendry, of Neosha, WI, Roxanne (Greg) Hoople, of New Auburn, WI, and Barb (Russell) Rounds, of Warren, PA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Birge and Sondra Braun, of Monroe, WI, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Also surviving are his special hunting and fishing companions, Levi Hanel, Tom Malsack, John Lucci, and Craig Lanouette. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by all his aunts, uncles, and in-laws.
