August 1, 1953 – October 14, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rita Maria Tarsitano-Mantooth, age 72, a beloved mother and grandmother, who passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 1, 1953, to the late Luigi and Carmela (Bruno) Tarsitano. Rita was a Bradford High School graduate. She then went on to pursue a career as an Accountant. She spent many years employed by Cool Runnings in Kenosha. Rita was known for her sharp mind, no-nonsense work ethic, and unwavering reliability.
Faith was the cornerstone of Rita’s life. A devoted Catholic, she attended Mass regularly and leaned on her faith through all of life’s seasons—finding comfort, meaning, and strength in her beliefs.
Rita found joy in the simple pleasures of life: long naps and a quiet smoke on the porch. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her children and grandchildren. Always getting down on the floor to do a project or build something that the kids dreamed up. Rita’s quick wit and calm presence will be missed deeply.
Rita’s legacy lives on through her two sons, Robert (Brittany) Mantooth, Russell (Kayla) Mantooth, and her grandchildren, Harleigh, Maya, Mack, and Brently Mantooth.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Luigi and Carmela Tarsitano; brother, Frank Tarsitano, and grandson Rocky Mantooth.
