Richard E. Diedrich age 84 of Twin Lakes, WI died May 26, 2025. He was born in Spring Grove, IL on March 24, 1941. The son of the late Edward and Marcella (Hergott) Diedrich. On June 22, 1963, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Twin Lakes, WI he was united in marriage to Sandra K. Evans who preceded him in death on October 13, 2020.
Richard loved farming, and he owned and operated Production Unlimited Holsteins with his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed Beekeeping, Kayaking and Hiking with friends, and attending Estate Sales and Flea Markets. Recently he enjoyed going to the library and meeting new people. He was a supporter of the Kenosha County Fair especially for the small animal auctions. Before farming in his early years Richard did construction and built homes. Richard was also on the Village of Twin Lakes Planning Commission for a few years.
Survived by his children John (Valerie) Diedrich, Tuesday (Chuck) Kautz and Philip (Kimberly) Diedrich. Grandfather to Natasha (Preston), Justin (Jamie), Josh (Mary), Alex, Sam (Colin), Jessica (Jared), Morgan, Abby (Michael), Shannon and Kyle. Great Grandfather to Knox, Blake, Evelyn, Maddie, JJ, Violet, Lucas and Noah. Brother to Robert (Marilyn) Diedrich, Nancy (John) Glowacki, Donna (Tony) Praza, Marlene (the late Larry) Stevens, Mariane (Spence) Mehalos, Carol (Mike) Kinnahan and Sister-in-Law Bonnie Mayer. Preceded in death by his parents, Stepmother Frances Diedrich, his Brother Daniel Diedrich, Sister Betty Reynolds and Brother-in-law John Reynolds, Brother-in-law Larry Stevens and Sister Sandy Jung.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday June 3, 2025, at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church 10519 N Main Richmond, IL 60071. Visitation will be held on Monday June 2, 2025, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM with a Time of Sharing being held at 8:00PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI. 53181. Memorials may be made to either St. Joseph Catholic Church or St. Joseph Alter and Rosary Society.
