Peter “Pete” H. Wildenberg, 88, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the Hospice Alliance Hospice House.
He was born on December 28, 1936, to the late John and Rose (Sakach) Wildenberg in Stanley, WI. He was educated in Bloomer, WI.
On June 9, 1976, he married Leanne Johnson in Kenosha.
Pete worked at OMC as an assembler for over 40 years.
Pete enjoyed fishing, bowling, and golfing. He was an avid Packers, Cubs, and Wisconsin Badgers football fan. Most of all, Pete loved spending time with his family.
Pete is survived by his wife Leanne, his children Cindy (Mark) Bennett, Craig Wildenberg, and Karl (Rachel) Wildenberg, his grandchildren Jessica, Brett (Meggie), Brooke (Ed), Dreya, and Aria, his great granddaughter Evelyn, his brother Jack Wildenberg, and his sister and brother-in-law Roxanne and Bob Williamson.
He is preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy and Kathleen, two brothers, Don and Kenny, and two sisters-in-law, Mary and Louann.
Funeral Services for Pete will be held on Tuesday, August 19th at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials would be appreciated by the family. The family requests that family and friends dress casually.
