Paul Schrandt, 93, of Somers, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Froedtert South-St. Catherine’s surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born on January 18, 1932, in Frazee, MN, the son of the late Herman & Veronica (Boltz) Schrandt. He was educated in the school of Frazee, MN. Paul served in the U.S. Navy on the aircraft carrier USS WASP. Paul was employed for 40 years as an electrician for AMC/Chrysler. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. His hobbies included cheering on the Packers, a love of the outdoors, and horses. He loved hunting and his hunting dogs, especially Willie. He was a generous man who helped everyone he crossed paths with. At 93 years old, he was still volunteering and delivering for Meals on Wheels. He enjoyed spending time with family & friends, especially his nieces and nephews, taking them on special vacations.
Survivors include his brother, Robert A. (Margaret) Schrandt of Kenosha; step-sister, MaryJane Thompson; nieces, Donna (Rick) Wick, Kathy Jo (Paul) Calmus, Patricia (Doug) Hansen, Mary Jo (Bruce) Anderson, Jayne (Doug) Stilson; nephews, Tom (Lecky) Schrandt, Richard (Kim) Schrandt, Mike (Betsy) Schrandt, Dave Schrandt, Mark (Wendy) Schrandt, Jon (Kathy) Schrandt, John Leroy (Jola) Schrandt, Tim (Becky) Schrandt, Dan (Rhonda) Schrandt, Joe (Nancy) Schrandt, & Bobby Schrandt; sisters-in-law, Sarah Schrandt and Lorraine Schrandt. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Norbert Lorsung; sister, Virginia Schrandt; brothers, Don, Leroy, Leonard, Jim & Tom Schrandt, and nephews, Doug, Jim & Dennis.
