With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patrick Robert Ryan, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, who left us peacefully on Friday, August 15, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on July 16, 1943, in Appleton, Wisconsin, to Edward and Romaine (Hill) Ryan, Pat lived a life filled with love, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to his family and community.
On July 25, 1981, he was united in marriage to Lynda Williams Funk at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church.
A proud veteran, he served as a First Lieutenant in the Army, instilling values of dedication and service that resonated throughout his life. Pat dedicated many years to his career as an H.R. manager at Snap-On Tools in Kenosha, retiring in 2003. He later served as a bailiff with Kenosha County.
Pat loved to travel, experiencing new places and cultures alongside his beloved wife, Lynda. He also traveled with friends to enjoy their shared love for golfing, Indy racing, and Packer games. He was an active member and held leadership positions, including President, of the Kenosha Evening Lions, where he participated in many service activities to give back to the local community. Pat was a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church of Kenosha and served as Youth Advisor and on the Call Committee.
He championed for his children’s and grandchildren’s activities, attending countless events and celebrating their achievements in every endeavor.
Pat is survived by his loving wife, Lynda Ryan; his children, Sean Ryan, Naomi (Tim) Padjen, and Sunhi Ryan-Schussler (Steve); and six grandchildren,n Kassi (Luke), Mya, Alyssa, Gilli, Brandon, and Addison.
