It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mattie Hall on Thursday, July 31, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born May 8, 1945, to Robert Armour and Mary Fisher, Mattie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend.
On February 1, 1964, she married Tom A. Hall, and they shared 61 years of lifelong memories. Mattie is survived by her beloved husband, Tom; son, Vince Hall; daughter, Synthia Hall-Jones; grandchildren, Kamara Hall, Kadiara Gustaveson, and D’Vaughn Mann-Hall; and four great-grandsons. Mattie’s warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, and her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by her many friends, family, and church family. May she rest in peace.
