Lucille Quist (nee: Allen), age 88, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at her home in Kenosha.
Born on August 31, 1936, in White Lake, WI, she was the daughter of the late Carl Newton and Ellen Mary Allen. On August 11, 1956, she married the late Richard Alan Quist. Ceil was a lab technician at Abbott Laboratories.
She enjoyed reading, spending time in nature, and cherishing her family and loved ones. She devoted her time to keeping in touch with those across Wisconsin and the country, especially in White Lake, Sheboygan, and Kenosha. She was well known for her loving heart and great sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her two sons, Donald and Scott; her parents; six brothers; and a sister.
Ceil will be missed by her brothers, Walter of West Alis and Cecil of Bristol, RI. She will also be remembered by her daughter-in-law, Nancy; her grandchildren, Jason (Natalia Costabile) Quist, Erin (Eric) Vigo, Mason (Rei) Weaver, Rachel Quist, Emma Quist, Michael Quist, and Jennifer (Chris) Sweetining, and seven great-grandchildren.
To honor Ceil’s wishes, there will be no service, and we encourage you to celebrate her life in your own ways.
