Louise Edna Scherer, 106, formerly of Kenosha, late of Wildomar, CA passed away peacefully Friday, May 23, 2025.
She was born on December 3, 1918 to the late Jacob and Mary Duesing in South Dakota. She was educated in South Dakota. She graduated from the Milwaukee School of Nursing as an LPN.
On June 2, 1938 she married Calvin Scherer in South Dakota. He preceded her in death on January 3, 2005.
Louise worked as an LPN at St. Catherine’s Hospital for many years.
Louse enjoyed crocheting, reading, dancing and playing bingo.
Louise is survived by her sons Leon Scherer and Michael (Gia) Scherer, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a daughter Janice Bogard, a son Calvin David Scherer, a grandson Paul Allen Scherer, a great granddaughter Jaymee Louise McCartney and seven siblings.
Visitation for Louise will be held on Friday, June 13th at 12:30 p.m. with Funeral Services at 1:30 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
