Obituary
Louis F. “Louie” Savaglio, 62, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at his home.
Born in Kenosha on November 6, 1962, he was the son of the late Armando and Mary (Dugan) Savaglio. Louie did his schooling in Kenosha and attended Jane Vernon, Lance, and Tremper High School. He joined the wrestling team at Lance, where he learned to hold his own against his sisters.
After high school, Louie worked at Ace Powersports for four years until he accepted a job with Palmen. His passion for cars grew as the years went on, and he retired after working there for over 20 years. His family would call him a car enthusiast as he would always talk about his cars and Harley motorcycles and would keep them spotless. He loved his dogs and the Green Bay Packers. If you went into his closet, you would find a pair of shoes for every outfit he owned. But, most of all, he loved his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Samantha Savaglio; former wife, Robin Savaglio; siblings, Tina (Elmer) Everman III, Christina (Don Roberts) Ferkin, and Suzy Savaglio; nieces and nephews, Amanda (Ryan) Seleski, Jennifer (Jesse) Vollrath, Jenna (Steven Olsen) Bradtke, Melissa (Hector) Roman, Jeffrey (Lauren) Ferkin, Justin (Kayde) Ferkin, Jamie Ferkin, Steve (Colleen) Pulera, and Scott (Emi Orr) Pulera; and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Armando Lukaszewski.
A visitation will take place at Proko Funeral Home on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. The following day, Friday, October 10, 2025, a service will be held at All Saints Mausoleum Chapel at 9:00 a.m. Entombment to immediately follow.
