Lorraine Harris, 97, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away on November 26, 2025, at Hospice Alliance – Hospice House.
Lorraine was born on May 2, 1928, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Martin and Millie (Johnson) Jensen. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Mary D. Bradford High School in June 1946. Lorraine married Glen V. Harris on August 5, 1950, at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church in Kenosha. She worked for the North Shore Railroad in the Highwood, IL office, then returned to Kenosha and worked for two doctors in their medical office. Lorraine was a life-long member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church and The Danish Sisterhood Lodge #20. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, playing cards, cooking, baking, riding bicycles, volunteering, shopping, loved to travel, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family.
Survivors include her children, Glen (Penny) Harris of Pleasant Prairie, Scott (Teresa) Harris of MS, Tracy (Lisa) Harris of ID; also included are her 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Chuck, Leroy and 1 in infancy, also her sister, Dorris King.
