Linda M. Hayes, 77, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away peacefully Monday, June 23, 2025 at The Grove at the Lakes in Zion, IL.
She was born on September 10, 1947 to the late Robert W. and Mary D. (Wirfs) Benson Sr. in Dallas, Oregon.
Linda married James Hayes in 1993 in Kenosha.
Linda worked at a lumber yard for many years.
Linda was a member of Trinity Christian Center in Zion, IL.
Linda enjoyed gardening and camping. Most of all, she loved spending time with family.
Linda is survived by her husband James, her children Stephen (Rebecca) Carey, Mary (Jason) Rintamaki and Timothy Carey, her 12 grandchildren and her brothers Robert (Dolores) Benson Jr, David Benson and Donald (Valissa) Benson.
She is preceded in death by a son James Carey, a sister Claudia Benson and a grandson.
Funeral Services for Linda will be held on Friday, June 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Christian Center (2600 Lewis Ave. Zion, IL). Interment will follow at North Bristol Cemetery in Bristol, WI. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Trinity Christian Center.
