Linda D. Johnson, age 78, a resident of Kenosha, died Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Froedtert South Hospital.
Linda was born August 22, 1947, in Racine, WI, to Bloyd “Bud” and Doris Lura. She attended schools in Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford. On June 23, 1978 she was united in marriage with Tim Johnson in Las Vegas. Linda worked at Snap-On Tools and retired in 1997. After Tim and Linda retired, they moved to Florida to fulfill her dream of working at Walt Disney World. She loved traveling, spending time with friends and family, and going to Milwaukee Irish Fest every year. She enjoyed painting, crafts, and the companionship of her dog, Bailey.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Martin) Pavilonis; two grandchildren, Samantha and Andrew, whom she cherished; brothers: Wayne Lura (Pat) and Jeff Lura.
Preceding Linda in death were her husband, Tim; her parents; sister, Denise; and brother, Dennis.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Kenosha, 5601 Washington Road. Visitation with the family will be on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. to the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the ELCA Outreach or Shalom Center would be appreciated.
