Lawrence F. Wiatr, age 71 of Twin Lakes, WI, died March 7, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 23, 1954, in Chicago, IL. The son of the late Walter and Stephanie (Skrzynski) Wiatr. ON Sept 20, 1975, in Chicago, IL, he was united in marriage to Lena Melnyk.
During his life, he enjoyed Drag Racing and Model Car Building. He loved spending his free time restoring Hot Rods.
Survived by his wife Lena. Father to Eric (Rachel)Wiatr, Jennifer Wiatr (Bobby), and Andrew (Amela) Wiatr. Grandfather to Manny Martinez. Further survived by his sister Judith Wiatr, sisters-in-law Diane Wiatr and Anna (James) Rose. Uncle to Laurie Rose, Christopher Rose, Alexander Rose, and Wayne Kurtti. He was preceded in death by his brother Daniel Wiatr and sister Joanne (Bruce) Kurtti.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory, 620 Legion Dr., Twin Lakes, WI. Visitation will be held after the funeral from 2:30 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Mound Prairie Cemetery.
