Kim C. Kletzien of Cedarburg, WI found peace on May 15, 2025 surrounded by her children in Bristol, WI after a long and inspirational fight with cancer. Kim is survived by her children Carrie (Emmanuel) Kletzien-Hofmann, Laura (Tom) Weber, Curtis Mitchell and Clarisa (Anthony) Stevenson. Grandmother to Jasmine and Elijah Green, Breana and Alyssa Weber, Curtis Mitchell Jr. and Paul, Ellie and Dahlia Stevenson. She is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Kletzien of Lomira, WI, her mother Roxanne Snellenberger of Fond du Lac, WI and her nephew John Peffer of Milwaukee, WI.
Kim lived in many places but found Milwaukee home for most of her life. Guided by her fiery spirit and her grit and strong will, she knew how to persevere in the face of adversity. Her many lived experiences, wisdom and unique character made her a great storyteller and giver of advice.
She enjoyed the simple things the most. Like getting lost in a good show/movie or conversation, or the sound of nature and feeling the breeze. A good cup of coffee or a sweet treat. Hearing a catchy tune or a funny joke. A drive on back country roads. Dancing, singing, and crocheting. Kim also liked to play all types of games, from sudoku to saving the Kingdom of Hyrule among many others. But most of all spending time with people she loved.
A celebration of life will be held on her birthday, May 31st 2025 for anyone who wishes to share a moment in memory of Kim. If you wish to attend please contact one of her daughters for a set time and location.
