Kenneth “Ken” M. Ward, 67, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on February 11, 1958, to the late Deloris Swanson in Zion. He was educated in Zion and Northern Wisconsin.
On May 22, 2010, he married Nancy Burford I Kenosha at Petrified Springs.
Ken was a welder and fabricator for Burt Jensen’s, M&W, and, most recently,Lakeside Steel, where he retired in 2024. He was a former member of the Sheet Metal Union #18.
Ken enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, being outdoors, gardening, and watching the sunrise. He loved all Wisconsin sports teams Badgers, Brewers, Bucks, and the Packers, and NASCAR. Most of all, Ken loved spending time with family and friends.
Ken is survived by his wife Nancy, his grandchildren Nathan, Donovan, and McKinzey, his great-grandson Damien, and his siblings Ross, Cathy, Betty, and Tina.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Karrie Burford, his brother Paul, his sister Peggy, and his brother-in-law Howard.
A Celebration of Life for Ken will be held on Wednesday, October 15th, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch-Hansen Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
