It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John “Jeff” Ellsworth, who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on April 7, 1942, to the late John and Bernice Ellsworth.
From 1962-1967, Jeff proudly served his country in the U. S. Army.
On March 31, 1989, he was united in marriage to Cheryl Ellsworth (Mackay).
He was employed as a Millwright until his retirement.
The foundation of Jeff’s life was his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, trips to casinos, riding his motorcycles, and hosting his annual Fourth of July party.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Cheryl, and by his cherished children: Randall Ellsworth, Susan (Bob) Millhouse, Stacy Ellsworth, Edward (Jenny) Ellsworth, Jason (Tina) Giombetti, and Jonathan Giombetti.
Jeff’s joy was reflected in his grandchildren, Brittainy, Alexandra, Cody, Luke, Zachary, Autumn, Ashley, Mario, Annabella, Ryder, and Atreyu. His great-grandchildren, Vivian, Harper, Rose, and Ensley, brought endless smiles to his days.
He is also survived by his dear siblings: Roberta (Don) Monson, Patricia Mollman, Jim (Angie) Ellsworth, Paulette (Dave) Hackbarth, Gregory Ellsworth, and Michele (Dave) Santilli.
Jeff shared a lifelong friendship with his best friend, P.K.
He never missed an opportunity to remind his loved ones how much they meant to him, and his warmth and devotion will forever live in their hearts.
