Joan A. Kehl, 92, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Monday July, 14, 2025 at Oak Ridge Care Center in Union Grove.
She was born on March 15, 1933 to the late Earl F. and Virginia M (Madison) Thomas in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha.
Joan married Donald R. Kehl on May 16, 1953 at St. Thomas Rectory. He preceded her in death in November of 1993.
Joan worked at Bell Telephone, Montgomery Wards, Town & Country Laundromat and at Villa D’ Carlo over the years.
Joan loved spending time with family, going to casinos, coloring, and playing Canasta. She enjoyed watching “Everybody Loves Raymond”, old movies, reading the Esquires magazines and enjoyed the Spot’s Hot Fudge Sundaes.
Joan is survived by her children Donald (Jackie) Kehl, Ruth (Keith) Anderson, Linda Schlosser and Lori Kehl (Brian) Magnant, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers Richard, Alan and Earl and a granddaughter in infancy.
Funeral Services for Joan will be held on Monday, July 21st at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
