Janet Leigh Grubbs, 62, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Hospital.
She was born on April 21, 1963, to the late William and Avonelle (Stollings) Grubbs Sr. in North Chicago, IL.
Janet enjoyed playing Scrabble, crossword puzzles, singing, and reading. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her children.
Janet is survived by her son Nicholas Morgan, her daughter Kassandra (David) Graham, her grandchildren Taylor, Ashley, Kayla, Dani Jo, and Jocelyn, and her siblings Joy Grubbs, Charlotte (Tim) Salica, Kimberly Jarrett, and William (Michelle) Grubbs. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Judy Ocenosek, Bessie Denis, and Barbara Hendrickson.
A Celebration of Life for Janet will be held on Thursday, January 15th, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated by the family.
