March 15, 2009 – February 5, 2026
Today, we gather to honor and celebrate the vibrant life of Isiah Malik Cooper, affectionately known as Zay Zay. Born on March 15, 2009, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Zay Zay was a radiant source of joy and laughter, leaving a profound impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His time at Mary D. Bradford High School was marked by a lively spirit, infectious laughter, and a passion for dance that filled every room he entered with pure joy. Family was the heart of Zay Zay’s life, and he deeply cherished moments spent with his parents, Tashea and Damon, and his siblings, Dynasty, Darreonna, Darreeal, Darrell Jr., Damian Jr., and Teigan. He also shared a special bond with his beloved nephews, Kyrie and Angelleon. His ability to connect with others and spread warmth and kindness made him a cherished member of the Kenosha Community. Zay Zay’s life, though tragically brief, was a testament to love and friendship, reminding us all of the profound impact one individual can have. As we bid farewell, we carry his memory in our hearts, inspired by his generous spirit and unwavering dedication to family and friends. Let us honor Zay Zay by cherishing each moment, embarrassing our loved ones, and spreading kindness, just as he did every day.
