Gregory Scott George, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at his home in Bristol, Wisconsin.
A Kenosha native, Greg was born November 16, 1962. He was preceded in death by his parents Violet (Harold) (Gratiot) Kubart and William George. He graduated from Reuther Central High, Kenosha, WI.
Greg was employed by Martin Petersen Company (where he was affectionately known as “Cupcake”) for 18 years. There he met and fell in love with Amy Schrimpf. They were married at Carthage College on September 6, 2003. For the last 20 years Greg has been a dedicated employee of Uline.
Greg’s love for baseball followed him throughout his life. His friendship with Augie Schmidt led Greg to become an advocate of the Carthage College Baseball program. This spilled over to his involvement in the Bristol Community as a Bristol Softball Recreation Coordinator where he coached both of his daughters.
He also loved watching his Godson, Gavin Lux, play for the Cincinnati Reds. Greg was a talented cook. He loved sharing his food with everyone; it was definitely his love language. He will be remembered for his kind and giving heart and his love for his dogs. He was a simple guy who had a big heart and loved hard.
