It is with deep sadness that the family of Dora Littiken announce her passing away peacefully at the age of 98 on June 9th 2025 after a long illness with dementia.
Dora was born July 25th 1926 in Iron Mountain Michigan to Italian immigrants Pasquale Caracciolo and Bettina Mari.
After graduating from Bradford Highschool she became the head of the photography department at Great Lakes Naval Training Center where she met and married Darrell Littiken. She had one daughter Debra Littiken.
She loved entertaining, cooking, gardening, traveling and meeting people from around the world. Dancing was her passion.
She is survived by her Daughter Debra Littiken, Son-in-law Leo Martin, and her sisters Beverly Mayo and Vivian Borkin.
She was preceded in death by her brother Fred Caracciolo and sisters Ann Castiglia and Norma Damm.
She was a happy, kind, caring person who touched the lives of many.
Her motto was ‘Do It Now!’
Services for Dora will be held on Thursday, June 19th at St. Marys Roman Catholic Church (7307 40th Ave, Kenosha). Visitation with the family will take place from 10 o’clock until 11 o’clock with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 o’clock.
Dora will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at St. George Catholic Cemetery.
