Donna C. Jensen, 91, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at North Point.
She was born on July 9, 1933 to the late Andrew and Molly (Koch) Slagoske in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha.
On May 26, 1951 she married Willy O. Jensen at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death in January of 2004.
Donna worked as a library technician at Zion High School in Illinois for many years.
Donna was a member of Spirit Alive Lutheran Church. The church was very important to her and loved her church family.
Donna enjoyed knitting, reading, going to plays, camping, crocheting and watching her grandchildren play sports. Most of all, Donna loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Donna is survived by her daughters Deborah Jane (Gary) Simo and Beth Marie (Joseph) Powell, her grandchildren Michael Warren Simo, Matthew Ryan Simo, Katie Elizabeth Simo, Anthony Michael Paielli and Bryan Mitchell Paielli and her great granddaughters Wesley Winter and Eleanor Jane. She is also survived by a sister-in-aw Barbara Slagoske.
She is preceded in death by a son Jack Alan Jensen, a brother Robert Slagoske and a sister Judith Ann Glover and her husband James Glover.
A Celebration of Life for Donna will be held on Saturday, May 24th at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Spirit Alive Lutheran Church (4600 – 60th St. also known as Wesley United Methodist Church). Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials would be appreciated to Spirit Alive Lutheran Church.
