Christina “Chris” Prescott, 71, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Aurora St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
She was born on August 4, 1954, to the late Adelo and Chrisenca (Rodriguez) Garcia in Polk County, Minnesota. She was educated in Kenosha and attended Mary D. Bradford High School.
Chris worked as a security guard at Snap-On-Tools, retiring in 1996.
Chris enjoyed going out for breakfast, driving through Petrified Springs, feeding the birds and squirrels, and driving by the lake. Chris loved spending time with her family.
Chris is survived by her by loving companion for many years Guillermo “Willy” Hernandez, her children Robert L. Prescott, Jesse T. Prescott, Scotty Prescott and Rebecca A. Prescott-Martinez, her grandchildren Joseph R, Alyssa, Justin, Jesse James, Brandon, Michaela, Savannah, Isabella, Esperanza, Maria, Alex and Juan Carlos, her great grandchildren Victoria and Thiago and her siblings Raul (Marisol) Garcia, Adela Garcia, Berta Paredes, and Michael (Eileen) Garcia.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Jose and Jerry, and a grandson, Juan Diego.
Funeral Services for Chris will be held on Thursday, October 9th at 12:30 p.m. at Prayer House Assembly of God (1525 – 24th Ave.). Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
