Beverly Kumkoski, 90, of Kenosha, went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on July 9, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Beverly was born on May 20, 1935, in Kenosha, WI, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Emma (Schneider) Krah. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1953. She married Albin Kumkoski on September 22, 1956, in Kenosha. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2021. They were married for 65 years and had four sons. After high school she had been employed as an executive secretary at Snap-On Tools. After her children were born, she was employed as the church secretary at Kenosha Bible Church for 25 years and was also a pianist there for many years. Later she worked part-time for Dr. Brad Jansen in his dental office. She loved to worship, fellowship and hear the Bible preached at Lakeview Church, Zion, IL where she was a member for more than 30 years. She and her husband also greatly enjoyed being part of Lakeview’s Wednesday noon “brown bag lunch” Bible study which was led by Pastor Les Martin. Until her eyesight diminished, she loved reading her Bible but thereafter listened to the Bible on audio. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She blessed many friends and family with her ministry of phone calls, cards of encouragement and prayers. She also loved watching and listening to Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewer games.
Survivors include her children; Brian (Karla) Kumkoski, Scott (Linda) Kumkoski, Tim Kumkoski, all of Kenosha, and Tom (Tracie) Kumkoski of Racine; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Albin, sister Doris, brother David, and step-daughter Judy.
Services were private.
Beverly’s family would like to thank the staff of Horizon Home Care and Hospice, Dr. Jennifer Takata and staff, Dr. Dana Wisby and staff, and Dr. Priti Patel for all the wonderful care that they provided over the years.
