Betty Jane Migliano passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 8, 2025. Born in Spring Green, WI on October 8, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Orrin and Mabel (Slauson) Forbes. She was educated in Richland County school and helped work on her family farm. She relocated to Racine County and worked for Johnson Wax. On June 30, 1962, she married Arnold Migliano at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She enjoyed playing bingo, dancing, watching the Milwaukee Brewers, going to grandchildren’s sporting events, going to the YMCA, vacationing in the Wisconsin Dells, visiting with relatives in Richland Center, WI and spending time with loved ones.
Surviving her are their three children: Darlene (Bill) Polacheck, Orrin (Stephanie) Migliano, and Darla (Jeff) Ramer; six grandchildren, Stacey, Nicholas, Kayla, Jarrett, Cory (Madi), and Matthew; three step grandchildren; Michael, Stephen (Amber), and Jessica; and three step great-grandchildren, Layla, Aiden, and Ava; sister-in-law Janice Forbes and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends further survive her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnold, brother Merle Forbes and sister Marion Carley.
Betty’s family would like to thank the Aurora at Home Hospice, and all the family and friends that have helped with her care during this difficult time.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, starting with a prayer service at Proko Funeral Home at 10:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in St. George Cemetery, Kenosha, WI.
