Ada Miceli (Bonanno), age 77, of Kenosha, passed away on June 5th, 2025. She was born on February 26th, 1948, in Marano Principato, Cosenza, Italy, to the late Lorenzo Bonanno and Maria (Pellegrino) Bonanno. She attended local schools in her home country. She married Francesco (Frank) Miceli on June 13, 1965. In 1965 they emigrated to the United States where they spent many happy years before her passing.
Ada was a strong woman that valued hard work, tradition and family. She was a devoted wife, mother and nana and always put her family first. Her passions included cooking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Ada worked at Kenosha Hospital for over 30 years where she made lifelong friends.
She is survived by her husband: Francesco Miceli, sons: Lorenzo (Katie) Miceli, Antoniello “Tony” (Tiffany) Miceli, grandchildren: Karlie, Ella, Gianna and Franco Miceli, sister: Angela Savaglio, and many other living relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-laws: Mario and Ildo Miceli, Francesco Savaglio, and sister-in-laws: Vanda Parrone, Enes, Celestina and Irma Miceli.
As per the family’s wishes, a private Mass of Christian Burial was held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church with an entombment at All Saints Catholic Cemetery which immediately followed the Mass.
