Three scholarship opportunities connected to the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce have deadlines arriving this week — and with combined awards of $5,500 across five scholarships, eligible students and adult learners have very little time to apply.
The City of Hope Cancer Center scholarship has the earliest deadline. The cancer center is offering two $1,000 awards to graduating high school students committed to pursuing healthcare careers. Selection criteria include academic excellence, a demonstrated commitment to healthcare, and a passion for improving patient outcomes. Applications are due Wednesday, June 17.
Two additional scholarships close Thursday, June 18.\n\nTEMPO Kenosha, a professional network of women in business, public service, education, and the arts, is offering two $1,000 scholarships to women adult learners continuing their education. The program is offered in partnership with the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce. TEMPO Kenosha holds monthly meetings and has a long history of investing in the professional development and advancement of women in the region.
Also due June 18, American Place Casino — in partnership with the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation — is offering one $2,500 scholarship to an adult learner pursuing a career in hospitality or a related field. Eligible areas of study include hospitality management, tourism management, culinary arts, business administration, finance, information technology, human resources, and marketing. The award recognizes academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and a clear commitment to a hospitality-focused career path.
Applications for all three scholarships are available through the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce.
