The Eric Olson Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns on Saturday, March 14, following an inaugural event in 2025 that drew tens of thousands of visitors downtown. No one should miss out on the fun, so the parade entry deadline has been extended by one week to Friday, Feb. 20, 2026.
Community members and businesses are invited to enter the parade with floats, marching bands, dance groups and other entertainment. Cost is $25 for nonprofit organizations and $150 for businesses to enter. Parade applications are available at the Mayor’s Office or online on the events page at www.kenosha.org
New this year is a float entry option to celebrate Kenosha’s Irish families. The parade committee will provide a float for all of the participants to ride together in the parade, and also a banner with the family’s last name. Entry fee is $100. Applications are due Feb. 20, and may be found on the city’s website, www.kenosha.org, or by contacting Kris Kochman in the
Mayor’s Office: kkochman@kenosha.org
The parade is presented by the City of Kenosha, Visit Kenosha and the Lakeshore Business Improvement District, with support from area businesses and organizations. The parade steps off at 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of 50th Street and Seventh Avenue and travels through the heart of downtown, ending at Library Park.
