KUSD to Host 68th Annual Band-O-Rama

With 2 performances, the 68th Annual KUSD Band-O-Rama takes place on January 31, 2026, at Indian Trial High School and Academy.

The Kenosha Unified School District’s 68th annual Band-O-Rama will take place at Indian Trail High School and Academy, 6800 60th St., on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026. This year’s event will include two performances, one at noon and the other at 6:30 p.m. This event will showcase nearly 1,400 students from KUSD’s elementary, middle, and high schools. 

Field house tickets are $10 per person (maximum of 3), and can be purchased at kusd.edu/tickets. Tickets will not be available at the door, and field house seating may sell out in advance. The event will also be streamed live on the district’s YouTube channel at youtube.com/kenoshaschools. Guests may also watch the live stream for free with no ticket required in the Indian Trail auditorium.

This year’s guest conductor is Dr. Erika Svanoe, a composer/conductor in the greater Twin Cities area, presently serving as the University of Wisconsin–Stout Symphonic Band Conductor. 

Participating directors and their schools are Karl Mueller, Bradford High School; John Stecher, Harborside Academy; Michael Monk, Indian Trail High School and Academy; Kathy Ripley, Tremper High School; Katie Poole, Bullen Middle School; Brittany Teschler, Lakeview K-8; Matt Maccari, Lance Middle School; Stacey Zwirlein, Mahone Middle School; Geoff Poole, Ruth Harman Academy; Lucas Dickinson, Washington Middle School; and elementary directors Leslie Cook, Leslie Hoffman, Nathan Larsen, Kristie Kruse and John Nepper.
