The Kenosha Public Museum is excited to announce the opening of The World of Sharks. This dynamic new exhibition dives deep into the biology, diversity, and importance of one of the ocean’s most fascinating groups of animals. The exhibition opens Saturday, December 13, in the Museum’s second-floor galleries.

Older than dinosaurs—and more threatened than threatening—sharks are spectacular, surprising, and often misunderstood. The World of Sharks introduces visitors to the incredible range of shark species; their unique senses and adaptations; their role in healthy ocean ecosystems; and the challenges they face in the modern world. Stunning specimens, interactive displays, large-scale models, and dramatic video footage bring visitors face-to-fin with these ancient and essential creatures.

The World of Sharks is organized by the American Museum of Natural History, New York (amnh.org), with support from Fundación Coppel A.C. The Kenosha Public Museum gratefully acknowledges Warner Bros.
