The United Way of Kenosha County and the Kenosha YMCA have partnered with BCU to host “Every Child Warm in the Winter,” a community cold-weather clothing drive benefiting students in grades 4K through 5 at Frank Elementary School.
The effort aims to ensure students are prepared to stay warm, healthy, and ready to learn throughout the winter months. Items most needed include winter coats, hats, mittens, or gloves. Donations of snowpants and boots are also welcome.
“We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of the United Way, YMCA, and now BCU in making the community clothing drive a reality for our students,” said Frank Elementary Principal Erik Schlick. “Their partnership, along with the generous donations from our community, ensures our students are safe, war,m and ready to learn this winter. It speaks volumes about the kindhearted individuals who live and work in our community.”
