The Halloween spirit is shining brighter than ever in the Village! The Pleasant Prairie Halloween Lights Tour is back with new oohs, ahs, and eeks. Running now through Halloween night, the Tour invites residents and visitors to hit the road and enjoy a fantastic lineup of festively decorated homes.
Dozens of Pleasant Prairie residents submitted their homes’ elaborate Halloween outdoor decor for consideration to be included on the Tour. Only 21 homes were chosen as official stops on the Tour Map, which creates a perfect route for drive-by viewing. The Tour is approximately 90 minutes total, but can be taken in three segments via Google Maps navigation, and it is highly recommended to follow the map in order to have the best flow and sights along the way. All details can be found on VisitPleasantPrairie.com/halloween-lights-tour.
Halloween Lights Tour Voting is Open
Through October 31, Tour-goers can cast their votes for their favorite displays directly on the Visit Pleasant Prairie Halloween Lights Tour Webpage. Everyone who casts a vote is automatically entered for a chance to win a $100 local gift card along with a Visit Pleasant Prairie prize bundle.
The homes with the most votes in each category will take home a custom prize package of their own—complete with a one-of-a-kind trophy. Categories are new this year for voting, and they include an overall winner, as well as winners for Spookiest, Most Creative, and Best Interactive Displays. First and second place in each category will be recognized and awarded.
On your drive, be sure to check out our curated Halloween playlist for the Tour, featuring Halloween Blues by LUNDE, a band that has its roots right here in Pleasant Prairie! And new this year, family-friendly trivia and ghoulishly silly jokes are available for extra on-the-go entertainment.
Earlier in the Tour, the Visit Pleasant Prairie Welcome Center & Gift Shop opened its doors for a couple of fun, bustling nights featuring festive photo ops with costumed characters, hot apple cider, its signature coffee, Crumbl Cookies, and a limited-edition Halloween Lights Tour sticker to take home. Visitors are still invited to stop by the Welcome Center (4721 75th St.) now through Friday between 9 AM – 4 PM to pick up Tour Maps and free stickers while supplies last.
