Victoria “Vicky” Poprawski, 56, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 17, 2022 at her residence.
She was born on March 27, 1966 to the late Richard J. and Elizabeth M. (Jennings) Poprawski in Waukegan, IL. She was educated in Grayslake, IL. She attended Harper College for nutrition in Palatine, IL.
On August 12, 2020 she married Richard L. Cartage in Cook County. He preceded her in death on November 5, 2021.
Vicky worked in the Health Care Industry in Illinois and Wisconsin for several years. Most recently, Vicky worked at Marina Gardens and the Phoenix Restaurant.
Vicki loved Elvis, bike riding, swimming and watching the sun rise and set. She was an avid Cubs and Bears fan.
Vicky is survived by her children Kyle, Samantha and Richard Jr., her siblings Dorothy, Richard (Kari), Mark (Jenna), Anna (Len), Bryan (Rhonda), Lisa, John (Shavon) and Philip (Cindy) and a grandchild.
She is preceded in death by two brothers Joey and Tony and two sisters Kim and Lucy.
A Celebration of Life for Vicky will be held on Friday, November 4th at 4:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:30 p.m. until the time of service.
