Velibor Minic, 76, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Friday, December 10, 2021 at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus.

He was born on October 30, 1945 to the late Milorad and Cmiljana (Vukićevic) Minic in Jablanovo, Montenegro.

On June 3, 1968 he married Selimirka Balsic in Jablanovo, Montenegro.

Velibor worked as a machine operator for MacWhyte for many years.

Velibor was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church on Braun Road, Racine.

Velibor was his grandkids’ biggest fan, watching them play soccer and cheering them on from the sidelines.

Velibor is survived by his wife Selimirka, his son Vlatko (Nikoleta) Minic of Kenosha, his grandchildren Aleksandar, Vuk, Anastasija, Viktorija and Petar, his great grandchildren Claire, Luka and Tristan and his siblings Vladimir Minic, Petko Minic, Rosa Lazarević, Mila Jurovic, Vera Bukumiric and Stanka Minic.

He is preceded in death by a son Vesko and two brothers Radojko and Radojica.

Funeral Services for Velibor will be held on Monday, December 20th at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church (6108 Braun Road, Racine).  Interment will follow at St. Sava Cemetery (32377 N Milwaukee Ave, Libertyville, IL 60048).  Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
