Thomas “Tom” J. Loetz, 77, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Froedtert South St. Catherine’s Hospital.
He was born on March 13, 1947 to the late Rodger and Luella (Chartier) Loetz in Kenosha. He was educated at St. Thomas Catholic School, Washington Jr. High and graduated from Tremper.
Tom entered the US Army in 1969 and was later honorably discharged.
He worked as a forklift truck driver for AMC/Chrysler and was a member of UAW Local #72. He later retired from Chrysler.
He was an avid Packers fan. He enjoyed bowling and was on several leagues, he also enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting. His dogs Jingles and Bailey were his pride and joy.
Tom is survived by his brother Donald Loetz, his nieces Sherri (Steve) LaFever and Becky (Don) Birkholz, his nephews Jim Jenkins, Jeff Jenkins and Scott Jenkins, his sister-in-law Maggie Loetz, his great nieces Haley, Nevaeh and Shailynn and great nephews Tyler, Dylan and Jared, his aunts Kathy Pomeroy and Betty Lueck and his uncle Bob Lueck.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Marian and Walter Lueck, Joseph Chartier, Mabel Jurca and Bill Loetz, his brothers Gary Loetz and David Loetz and a great nephew Codi Harris-Loetz.
Funeral Services for Tom will be held on Friday, June 21st at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
